Mr Hoh Weng Ming is the President and a Director of China Yuchai International Limited (“CYI”) as well as a Director of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Company Limited and HL Global Enterprises Limited.
With over 35 years of professional experience across Singapore, Malaysia, New Zealand, Hong Kong SAR and the People’s Republic of China, Mr Hoh brings a wealth of regional expertise to his roles. He was previously the Financial Controller of CYI from 2002 to 2003, the Chief Financial Officer of Hong Leong Asia Ltd from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, he had worked in various roles with companies including Johnson Electric Industrial Manufactory Limited and Henan Xinfei Electric Co., Ltd.
Mr Hoh has a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Accountancy from the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, and a Master of Business Administration from the Massey University in New Zealand. He is a Chartered Accountant in New Zealand and a Fellow Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr Kwek Leng Peck is a Director of China Yuchai International Limited and Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Company Limited. He also serves as the Executive Chairman of Hong Leong Asia Ltd (“HLA”) and as Executive Directors of Hong Leong Investment Holdings Pte. Ltd., Hong Leong Corporation Holdings Pte Ltd and Hong Realty (Private) Limited. He also sits on the boards of HL Technology Systems Pte Ltd, Hong Leong (China) Limited, Well Summit Investments Limited and Hong Leong Finance Limited, as well as other affiliated companies.
Mr Kwek has many years of experience in trading, manufacturing, property investment and development, hotel operations, corporate finance and management as well as extensive involvement in Hong Leong Group real estate developments, investments and hotel operations.
With his in-depth knowledge of HLA Group’s business, Mr Kwek has overseen the growth of the HLA Group over the last four decades from an integrated building materials group in the 1980s and 1990s to being also a major player in the consumer products and diesel engines industries in China since the 2000s.

Mr Stephen Ho Kiam Kong is a Director of China Yuchai International Limited. He also serves as the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Hong Leong Asia Ltd and sits on the boards of HL Technology Systems Pte Ltd, Hong Leong (China) Limited, Well Summit Investments Limited and other affiliated companies.
Mr Ho has extensive experience in finance, treasury and risk management from his executive positions previously held at Wilmar International Limited and Dutch multinational corporate, Royal Phillips. Prior to his financial management role, Mr Ho worked for major international financial institutions in Singapore, Hong Kong SAR and New York in the areas of corporate banking, global markets trading, marketing and sales.
Mr Ho holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration degree from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand and had completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, Boston, United States.
Mr Li Hanyang was appointed as Director of China Yuchai International Limited (“CYI”) on May 12, 2021. He also serves as the Chairman of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Company Limited (“Yuchai”) and Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group Company Limited (“GY Group”), a major shareholder of CYI.
Mr Li started his career with Yuchai as a production preparation section chief in 1993 and was gradually promoted to deputy general manager of Yuchai in 2000. He was transferred to GY Group in 2002 and since then, he has served in various managerial positions including chief engineer, director, chairman and party secretary of GY Group and its subsidiaries.
Mr Li holds a Bachelor in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing degree from Tsinghua University and a Master of Business Administration from the School of Management, Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
Dr Wu Qiwei was elected as Director of China Yuchai International Limited on July 23, 2021, after acting as Alternate Director to Mr Yan Ping since 2012. Dr Wu is also the President and a Director of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Company Limited (“Yuchai”). He previously served as one of the Deputy General Managers of Yuchai and oversaw sales and marketing.
Dr Wu holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Hunan University, and a Master of Business Administration from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and a Doctorate in Marine Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology.

Mr Xie Tao is an Independent Director of China Yuchai International Limited and Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Company Limited. He also serves as an Independent Director of Zhejiang Wanfeng Auto Wheel Co., Ltd and a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Shanghai Vico Precision Mold & Plastics Co., Ltd, a public-listed company in the People’s Republic of China (the “PRC”). He retired as an Independent Director of a PRC-listed company, Gongniu Group Co., Ltd in January 2024.
Mr Xie has more than 30 years of experience in corporate management and financial advisory, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and transaction services. He has spent a major part of his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (“PwC”) for nearly 23 years as a lead partner of the Advisory practice in PwC China and as the Senior Partner of Corporate Finance, serving on the Executive Board of member firms of PwC in the PRC, Singapore and Hong Kong SAR. From 2012 to 2014, he served as a partner at Ernst and Young and later Deloitte, leading transaction services and corporate finance business.
Mr Xie holds a Bachelor in Physics degree from Beijing University in the PRC and was a member of the UK Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.

Currently, Mr Neo also serves as a Director with Cambodia Post Bank Plc, Fullerton Credit group companies in the People’s Republic of China, CapitaLand China Trust Management Limited and Valuemax Group Limited.

Prior to that, he was with Singapore Economic Development Board and General Motors, where he had worked in six countries over a span of more than 35 years. Mr Wong has extensive experience in industry development, mergers and acquisitions, new business development, strategic alliance management, sales and marketing, strategic risk management, business strategy, product portfolio planning, global procurement and business process re-engineering.

Mr Loo Choon Sen is the Chief Financial Officer of China Yuchai International Limited He has over 20 years of financial leadership experience.
Mr Loo started his career as an external auditor with Baker Tilly and moved on as the Financial Controller for a subsidiary of a listed company in Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, based out of Papua New Guinea. He joined Cameron International Corporation in 2001, where he held various positions, including as Director of Financial Services for Asia Pacific & Middle East based out of Singapore and Director of Finance for Canada, based out of Edmonton, Canada. After Schlumberger Limited acquired Cameron International Corporation in 2016, he became the Director of Finance for Schlumberger Limited’s Cameron Product Lines for Asia Pacific & Middle East spanning across 15 countries in the region. Prior to his current role, he was with TechnipFMC covering Asia Pacific region.
Mr Loo holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and Accounting from Curtin University of Technology and is a Certified Practising Accountant in Australia.
Mr Ang Tiong Ing is the Senior Vice President, Operations of China Yuchai International Limited (“CYI”). He has oversight and oversees the new energy business of subsidiaries in the People’s Republic of China, which develop and manufacture electric power system, range extender power systems, hybrid power systems and hydrogen fuel cell power systems for both on-road and off-road vehicles.
Mr Ang brings more than 30 years of experience to this role and deep expertise across the engineering industry. Prior to this, he spent a decade as a marine engineer in a shipping company before joining Cummins Hong Kong Ltd, where he served as General Manager, overseeing diesel engine distribution and aftermarket operations in Southern China and Hong Kong SAR.
Mr Lai holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Management from Hong Kong Metropolitan University and a postgraduate certificate in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick, in the United Kingdom.
